I
was selected to be Latino Museum Studies Fellow at the Smithsonian Latino Center for summer 2017. Along with eleven other brilliant graduate students whose work dances in the realm of Latina/o/x studies, I spent six weeks in Washington, D.C. at various Smithsonian Institution museums and centers being trained in museum curation, design, and community outreach. Below is a post I wrote for the Latino Center blog on my practicum experience. Enjoy!
Hi, when did you find out about your fellowship acceptance? Mid Abril or last week of Abril?
Thank you!
